Garden clearance across Harrogate & Yorkshire

An overgrown or neglected garden can feel overwhelming. CPW Gardens carries out full garden clearances across Harrogate and Yorkshire — cutting back, digging out, clearing and removing everything, leaving the garden ready for whatever comes next.

We work with homeowners who've let a garden get ahead of them, landlords preparing properties between tenancies, letting agents bringing gardens up to standard before viewings, and new property owners inheriting a neglected plot. Whatever the situation, we'll clear it properly.

End-of-tenancy and landlord clearances

One of our most common clearance jobs is an end-of-tenancy garden — a plot that's been left in poor condition and needs to be brought back to a presentable state before the next tenant or a sale. We work efficiently, clear everything including waste removal, and can combine the clearance with ongoing garden maintenance or fencing if needed.

For letting agents managing multiple properties across Yorkshire, we can coordinate clearances across your portfolio. Get in touch to discuss how that works.

After the clearance

Once the garden is clear we can advise on what to do next — whether that's turfing and planting, a landscaping project or simply setting up an ongoing maintenance visit. We don't just clear and leave — we can be the team that looks after the garden going forward.

Frequently asked questions

How do you price a garden clearance?+
Most clearances are priced on a fixed-job basis after seeing photos or a site visit for larger plots. WhatsApp photos give us a good starting point for most jobs and we can usually come back with a price or ballpark the same day.
Do you remove all waste?+
Yes — all green waste, rubbish and materials are removed and disposed of properly. Nothing is left on site.
Can you clear a garden the same week?+
Often yes, depending on our schedule. Clearances are typically quicker to turn around than ongoing work. Get in touch and we'll tell you what's realistic.
What if there's fly-tipping or hazardous waste on the site?+
We can clear most garden waste and general rubbish. Hazardous materials — asbestos, chemicals, fuel — require specialist contractors. We'll tell you upfront if we identify anything that falls outside standard clearance.
Do you do partial clearances or is it all-or-nothing?+
We can clear specific areas — an overgrown corner, a collapsed shed area, an out-of-control border — rather than the whole garden if that's what's needed. Tell us what you're trying to achieve and we'll advise.
