Landscaping & Fencing
This Skipton garden needed a complete rethink. The existing structure — old fencing, crumbling surfaces and an unusable rear area — was stripped back entirely and rebuilt from the ground up with a raised timber deck and new close-board fencing throughout.
Clearance & Groundwork
The job started with full demolition of the existing garden structure. Old panels, broken concrete, rubble and assorted debris were cleared to leave a clean slate. New fence posts were set in concrete before any decking work began — getting the structure right from the start.

Deck Frame & Structure
The raised deck frame was built on treated timber joists, levelled and squared before boarding began. The site sits elevated above neighbouring properties — the deck needed to be structurally solid given the span and exposure.

Finished Result
New close-board fencing was fitted throughout once the deck was complete. The result is a clean, private outdoor space that makes proper use of the garden — a significant improvement on what was there before.
